  • Initial analysis of existing population, existing and future provision/need for school places, existing local schools and existing/future potential shortfall in places
  • Advice on potential demand for a new school, suitability of specific site and analysis of required floor areas and size of plot

  • Assist with liaison with local education authority and other key local stakeholders

  • Identify potential school providers



Delivering a school provider

  • Select school provider through initial compettitive process

  • Assist school provider to submit application to open a Free School

  • Negotiate terms for land sale to school operator/Education Funding Agency

  • Assist with the planning process, local relations through to grant of planning approval

  • Complete all legal formalities and hand over of plot to school


Delivery of new schools projects             

  • Project management of school buildings as part of agreed delivery and funding with ESFA
  • Acting as your education property consultant on ESFA funded and procured school devleopments
  • Advising on general co-ordination of school projects as part of any mixed-use development



Managing 3rd party stakeholders

  • Assisting with engaging with 3rd party stakeholders, including local community organsisations, residents groups, parent groups and local councillors
  • Input into local communication strategies to secure overall planning objectives
  • Managing selected school provider on all local public relations
